Matching a Net to a Solid Figure Worksheet Download

Nothing on the site drew a net before this sheet, so the flat patterns come from a new shared helper (functions_math/solid_net.function) - the companion to the one that draws the folded solid. The distractors are always the near misses first: a cube against a rectangular prism, a square pyramid against a triangular pyramid. Counting the faces and noticing what shape they are is the whole skill, so pairing a cube net against a sphere would let the answer be picked without looking at the net.

Matching a Net to a Solid Figure
Students look at 2D nets and match each one to the correct 3D solid figure it would fold into, such as cubes, pyramids, and prisms.
