About this worksheet
Each worksheet has 8 descriptions of solid figures for students to identify.
This worksheet describes a solid figure by its attributes and asks which figure it is. Every other solid figure sheet shows the figure and asks about it; the standard also says classify, which means going the other way, and this is the version a student cannot answer by looking. The clues always include a line about the shapes of the faces, because counts alone cannot separate a cube from a rectangular prism - both have six faces, twelve edges and eight vertices, and a sheet built on numbers would have two right answers every time one of them came up. Sheets can be customized, turned into flash cards, or assigned for online learning.
