About this worksheet
Each worksheet has 6 problems deciding whether two figures are congruent and naming the transformation that shows it.
This standard had one worksheet, and it works from labelled side lengths in centimetres - so it can be answered by comparing numbers without ever picturing a motion. There are no measurements here: the only way through is to see whether one figure could be laid on the other. A figure that is not congruent is always a resized version of the same figure rather than some unrelated shape, because that is the actual confusion - the same shape at seven tenths the size looks right, is genuinely similar, and is not congruent. Half of those are scaled evenly and half squashed in one direction only, so same shape and same size come apart separately. Sheets can be customized, turned into flash cards, or assigned for online learning.
