Each worksheet has 6 problems completing a table of consecutive powers of the same base.
Every other pattern worksheet on this site continues an arithmetic pattern, where a constant is added each step. A power is a pattern that multiplies, and seeing that 2, 4, 8, 16 grows by doubling while 2, 4, 6, 8 grows by twos is the idea this worksheet is built on. The blank moves between the two columns, so the student is sometimes asked to evaluate the next power and sometimes to name a value as a power - the second being the harder and rarer question. Sheets can be customized, turned into flash cards, or assigned for online learning.
