Finding the Area of a Triangle Word Problems Worksheet Download

The three wrong answers are the three real slips: base times height with the half forgotten, the perimeter of the triangle, and three times the area - one for each side. Every one is a number the two given measurements really produce, so none can be ruled out by size and the question is which formula rather than whether you can multiply. The base is always an even number of tenths so that half of base times height still lands on two decimal places - otherwise the choices carry a third decimal that no measurement on the page justifies.
