About this worksheet

Each worksheet has 20 problems writing a fraction, decimal or percent in one of the other two forms.

This worksheet asks for a single named conversion in each problem, and unlike the table sheets on this standard the fraction is in simplest form rather than written over 100. All six directions appear on every page, so the reverse conversions - percent to fraction, decimal to fraction - get asked as often as the easy one. Every denominator divides a power of ten, so each of the three forms is exactly equal rather than rounded. Sheets can be customized, turned into flash cards, or assigned for online learning.

Student objectives

  • Write a fraction in simplest form as a decimal and a percent.
  • Write a decimal as a fraction in simplest form.
  • Write a percent as a fraction and a decimal.

Everyday practice

  • Say a common fraction like 3/4 as a percent.
  • Read a sale percent as a fraction.
  • Check that two forms of a number really are equal.
