Classifying Triangles (Except) Worksheet Download

Three of the four terms really do fit the triangle, so a term has to be ruled out rather than recognized - a triangle with two congruent angles can be right (45-45-90), isosceles, equilateral, acute or obtuse, but never scalene. No problem is ever built where the answer turns on whether an equilateral triangle counts as isosceles: that depends on which definition a textbook uses, so isosceles is never offered against a statement forcing all three sides equal and never made the answer to one that allows an equilateral triangle.
